Surfing in Santa Teresa – Costa Rica
Santa Teresa is often considered the favorite surf spot in Costa Rica. The town consists mainly of a long, cozy street that runs parallel to the extensive coastline. So, you’re never far from the stunning beach. What’s great is that there’s hardly anything directly built on the beach. There’s often about 50 meters of nature between the beach and the road, making the view from the beach – and the sea – even more beautiful. The waves in Santa Teresa are often described as perfect sets that every surfer will love. Whether you’re facing the waves for the first time or have been in the surf for years, there’s a spot here for every skill level.
