Hi! We’re Greg & Irene, a pair of seasoned travelers from The Netherlands with a deep passion for adventurous destinations. Our mission? To uncover the most breathtaking places on Earth, not just for ourselves, but also for you. Since 2014, we’ve been gathering top-notch travel tips around the world, crafting informative articles on our blog. We started by sharing our travel expertise on our popular Dutch blog, Reisjunk.nl, and we’re excited that we’ve now expanded our reach to an international audience with Travelrebels.com. We understand that planning a trip can sometimes feel overwhelming, with so many options to choose from. That’s why our primary goal is to make your trip planning process a little easier and, above all, more enjoyable.
When we say “travel,” we’re not talking about lounging on a beach. We’re all about immersing ourselves in different cultures, seeking inspiration, and connecting with nature’s wonders. It’s about constantly pushing our boundaries, whether that means embarking on physical adventures like scaling a volcano or embracing the mental challenge of trying out unconventional delicacies like insects. As a photographer with a passion for travel, I’m always on the lookout for moments that take your breath away. Since I was a child I’ve loved exploring, and now I’m constantly seeking out extraordinary landscapes, charming restaurants, and thrilling activities. For me, the joy of travel lies in the little things — the small but meaningful moments that make you feel alive and grateful.

An editor with a great love for travel. With a focus on adventure and authenticity, I’m always looking for the best way to experience a destination. Through writing or photography, I hope to make you just as enthusiastic about the beautiful places the world has to offer.
Thom & Ilse
We travel the world in search of thrilling hikes, unspoiled nature, and new experiences. We often capture our adventures through the lens of our camera, but we also value our time offline. Our travel tips stem from a combination of our personalities, with Ilse as the creative force behind the beautiful images and Thom as the planner who meticulously researches every aspect of the trip.

With a big smile on my face and a backpack full of dreams, I travel around the world, searching for what makes my heart beat faster. These can be all kinds of things, such as unique encounters and new experiences. Playing and discovering is my motto.
