Most people who travel through Southeast Asia start their journey in Bangkok, often in the vicinity of Khao San Road. This is the traveler’s hotspot of Bangkok with many guesthouses, hotels, and hostels. Of course, it’s difficult to choose from hundreds of hostels and hotels, which is why we are sharing our favorite places to stay here. These hostels and hotels are very popular, so making a reservation well in advance can be helpful.

Here Hostel
For backpackers, Here Hostel is a real gem. It’s a beautiful and cozy hostel where you can easily meet other travelers. It’s only a 5-minute walk from Khao San Road, so the location is superb. There is a lovely pool, a beautiful garden with lots of seating areas, and there’s even a slide. It’s a great way to start and/or end your trip through Thailand!

Just one block away from Khao San Road is the Bed Station Hostel. This hostel has literally everything you need for a great stay in Bangkok. This is what you call an incredibly beautiful hostel! Boxpackers Hostel looks like a luxurious hotel. Choose a nice double room or a bed in a dorm with lots of privacy. This hostel is super centrally located but still offers a lot of peace and quiet. The shared showers and toilets are often cleaned, and the staff is very friendly.

Chern hostel is located a 15-minute walk from Khao San Road. It may be a bit further away, but you can enjoy a fantastic large swimming pool here. This is a great way to spend a hot afternoon in Bangkok! You’ll stay in a comfortable double room with good beds, a nice shower, and air conditioning.
