Budapest Rally: An awesome road trip to Budapest

Within Europe, there are many incredibly beautiful places to discover and unique journeys to embark on. This year, you can once again participate in the Budapest Rally. This road trip is being organized for the 5th time and has been a huge success every time. There’s a good chance that when you’re 80, you’ll still look back on this incredible adventure with a big smile!

The idea is simple: You buy an old car or simply use your own car, pick up your friends, and grab a toothbrush on the way. Then you race to Amsterdam because from here, all teams depart for Budapest. Each day, you cover a certain stage along some of the most beautiful routes in Europe. Along the way, there are parties every evening at the most fun locations where all the teams come together. In short, it’s an awesome 7-day road trip through Europe!

Pimp Your Car, Complete Challenges, and Win a Trabant

All participants are expected to start with the most unique four-wheeler possible. It can be an old camper with 20 stuffed animals on the roof, or it can be your own car transformed into something extraordinary. This year’s theme is TV series. Points can be earned before and during the rally for creativity and by completing daily challenges. Think of tasks like crossing the Croatian border with the entire team in swimwear or frying an egg on the roof of your car. The team that collects the most points by the end of the rally wins a bright yellow Trabant!

The Legendary Road Trip Route

The Budapest Rally takes you to some of the most beautiful spots in Europe, covering a total distance of over 2500 km. You’ll pass by the famous Plitvice Lakes in Croatia, Venice, Lake Garda, the Stelvio Pass, the Black Forest, and you’ll end up in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe: Budapest. Every evening, all teams gather at a campsite for a great party. Camping is optional, so you can also choose to book hotels on your own.
